Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinet Pulls could be Dangerous
Some time ago we heard banging and bumping in the kitchen. Our dog had caught her collar on a knob similar to the last one in the picture below. While she came out OK, it made me re-think the type of knobs and pulls used in the kitchen. Had we not been home, she probably would have become unhooked, but what if she hadn't. At best, she would have been traumatized.
Pulls similar to those in the first photo below can catch a collar easily.

The group below would be a much safer choice. A collar would just slide over any of them when your dog is checking out what's on the counter.

The pull style pictured below may or may not be safe, but would be better than the first group.

The pulls illustrated above are just some random samples. Take a look at yours to see if they could injure your precious pet. This isn't a recommendation for any particular piece of hardware, just something to make you think. I never gave it a thought until I was put in a position to.
